Thanksgiving Dinner November 23, 2024

Each year the New Castle Lions Club provides a free Thanksgiving dinner to New Castle residents. In many communities, such dinners are provided by charities to diners who would otherwise not have a holiday meal. The Lions dinner is different. While of course those in need are welcomed, but so is everyone else. All New Castle residents are invited to share a meal together and welcome in the holiday season.
The 2024 meal is scheduled for Saturday, November 23, from 5:00 to 6:30 pm, in the Community Center. The Lions will serve turkey and gravy, ham, mashed potatoes, bread, dressing and cranberry sauce. Guests may contribute a vegetable, dessert, or other side dish, if they are able.
There is no charge, though donations to the Lions are welcome
