The Town of New Castle and New Castle Police Department are proud to announce that we have received a matching fund grant from the Federal Mineral Lease District for the remodeling of the Town owned building, located at 801 West Main Street.
The remodel / construction project will integrate the New Castle Police Department into this facility.
Invitations to bid on this contract will need to be applied for. The qualifications needed are as follows:
• A Commercial Best Contracting License or Equivalent
• A $1,000,000.00 Liability Insurance Policy/ and 5% Bonding
• A Town of New Castle Contractor License
• Additional previous commercial work history and references.
• Any and all subcontractors must also obtain a Town of New Castle Contactor’s license.
General Contractors wishing to bid on this project will need to have their bid intention submitted prior to plan and data specification release on 11/14/14 for qualification review. Bid intentions need to be submitted by 5:00pm on the 14th. Bid intentions will not be accepted after this date and time nor will you be able to submit a sealed bid.
General Contractors will be expected to have their sealed bids completed and turned into the Town of New Castle Clerk’s Office by 12/19/14 at 1:00pm. No bids will be accepted after that date and time. Further actions by the Town Staff will be announced at a later date.
