Groundbreaking on Lakota Canyon Ranch & Golf Club’s New Clubhouse

Lakota Canyon Ranch & Golf Club’s Groundbreaking on the new golf clubhouse took place on September 14th. After much anticipation and planning, construction on the beautifully designed 6,000 square foot clubhouse, will have a golf pro-shop, restaurant with fine dining, full bar, and plenty of comfy sofas to sit on while overlooking Lakota’s world-class 18-hole golf course with breathtaking scenery.

The Grand Opening is planned for sometime in 2016. The new clubhouse will be a great addition for the Town of New Castle, Lakota Canyon Ranch community, and golfers.

September 2015: Town Prepares to Expand Water Treatment Plant

In This Issue:

Town Prepares to Expand Water Treatment Plant

New Castle has been awarded an $814,554 grant (the full amount of our request) from the Department of Local Affairs (DOLA) for upgrades to the water treatment plant. The funds will be used to replace two old treatment units (basically filters) which will increase our treatment capacity by over 1.4 million gallons per day. We will also improve our water measuring system, add a new pump station and expand our clear well. The total project cost is approximately $1.63 million.
