ComicCon: Super Heros Spelling for Literacy Friday, April 6 

Holy alphabet, Batman! Spellebration 2018 is just around the corner! Join us on April 6th at Hotel Colorado. Spellebration is a costumed spelling bee for adults that supports Literacy Outreach and Colorado Mountain College Learning Labs. Our theme this year is Comic Con so start pressing your capes and studying your dictionaries. Don’t worry, it’s a team-based event so all the pressure is off!

If you’re not in the mood to spell, come Marvel at all the costumes, grab a drink, and participate in the silent auction. Admission is free for spectators.

Help Wanted
Volunteer Coaches need for Micro Soccer; join us for a Coaches’ Clinic on Thursday, March 29th at 6pm at Alder Park.
The Coaches Clinic will cover the basics of coaching youth soccer, how to run a successful practice, creative practice ideas, games, rules and so much more. If you have every been unsure if you could coach soccer this clinic is for YOU! NCR will provide you all the tools to make you a successful coach and build your confidence.

Fly Fishing 101 & 102
Fly Fishing 101: Come learn the basics of fly fishing and how to cast properly. John Harcourt, a local fishing
guide, will teach this introductory clinic. Topics will include the following: entomology, equipment, knots, casting
and more. Register for both classes (101 & 102) and save some money. Cost is $25, date/time: March 31, 1-4 pm, located at the Community Center.
Fly Fishing 102: Now it’s casting time! Participants will head down to the Colorado River to practice the fly
fishing skills learned in Fly Fishing 101 and learn where fish live and feed! Cost: $25, date/time:April 7, 1-4 pm, location will be at Grand River Park
