Bring your parent/guardian or adult friend to create a solar car. Solar races are a common science and engineering activity.

Intro to Lacrosse Camp (Ages 8-12yrs)
Want to try the fastest growing sport in the valley? This new program will teach participants the fundamental skills of throwing, catching, scooping, and cradling. Pedestrian Bridge Nighttime Closures Week of June 19
Beginning Monday, June 19 through Friday night, June 23 from 8 PM to 6 AM, crews will close the new pedestrian bridge to stain the tiles on the canopies. Pedestrians should use the existing temporary walkway that is cantilevered on the GAB.
Construction of the North-leg of Sixth and Laurel Roundabout Begins June 19
Beginning, Monday, June 19 for approximately two months, crews will begin work on the north-leg of the new Sixth and Laurel roundabout. Laurel will be one-way northbound during this time. Motorists wishing to access Sixth Street and CO-82 from Laurel Street and surrounding neighborhoods should use Linden Street as a detour route. Detour map coming soon. The City parking lot next to Subway will be closed. Stay tuned for project updates.
CO-82 Nightly Lane Closures for Traffic Signal Installation
Near the end of June from 8 PM to 6 AM, CO-82 from 10th Street to the GAB will be in an alternating one-lane configuration. Ninth Street from Colorado to Grand avenues and Cooper to Grand avenues will also be closed during this time. Crews will install wider mast arms for upgraded traffic signals along the CO-82 corridor.
