New Castle Recreation Department
WINTER: Youth Makers Studio (Ages 6+)
Students will use their imaginations to create 2D + 3D art projects of their choice using a variety of art mediums in this artist studio making environment. Day/Dates: Fridays, January 5 – February 23 (8 weeks). Time: 2:00 – 4:00pm, fee: $128 and location is the Community Center.
Class size: Min: 6 Max: 12, Instructor: Lynne Cassidy. Register by Friday, December 29th.

Want to learn to play the Ukulele?
Free drop in to strum or sing along, Wednesdays, 10:30 am – 12 noon at the Community Center.

Fitness for Kids :(Ages 4+)
A musically choreographed fitness class for kids intended to enhance cardiovascular fitness, muscular strength, and endurance, and flexibility. Exercises are callisthenic and plyometric based with yoga influenced by flexibility at the end of each session. A 15minute educational “health topic” is covered at the end of each session. Days/Times: Fridays, January 12, 19, 26, and February  2,9  from 9:00-10:00am. Cost: $30 or $10.00 ‘drop in’ fee and location is at Community Center.

Vision Boarding Workshop: Illuminate your Aspirations for the New Year
Using collage, mixed media and the power of guided visualization, you will work to gain clarity around the goals and dreams that will allow you to THRIVE in 2018.
Date: Saturday, January 6, time: 10:00 – 2:00pm, fee: $50 (includes all supplies, handouts and snacks. Bring your own lunch). Age: Adults minimum of 8 participants required.
