December 2 – Chamber of Commerce Holiday Craft Show at the Community Center, 10 am – 3 pm
December 2 – New Castle Senior Housing Annual Craft Fair, 9 am – 4 pm
December 4 – 12 noon Senior Lunch at New Castle Senior Housing
December 5 – 7 pm Town Council meeting at Town Hall
December 6 – 12 noon, Senior Luncheon at the River Center

New Castle Recreation Department
CRVL Boys Basketball League (Boys grades 3-6):  Deadline is December 22. NCR offers Basketball leagues for boys, focusing on basic basketball skills and sportsmanship. Starts January 9, cost is $60, $70 after December 22 and games will be at various locations. Practice will be 1-2 times a week and volunteer coaches are needed.

Rockin Vinyasa Yoga: (Ages 16+) on Saturday, December 9th
Yoga and Pilates come together to provide a challenging and invigorating workout. This class will include both seated and standing postures, focusing on core strength, increasing flexibility, balance, power, energy and coordination. All levels welcome! Bring a Yoga mat, towel or blanket. Cost: $10.00 drop in fee pre-register requested. Location: New Castle Community Center

WINTER: Youth Makers Studio (Ages 6+)
Students will use their imaginations to create 2D + 3D art projects of their choice using a variety of art mediums in this artist studio making environment.  Dates: January 5 – February 23, day: Friday (8 weeks), time: 2:00 – 4:00pm and cost: $128. Class size: Min: 6 Max: 12, instructor: Lynne Cassidy and the location: New Castle Community Center. Register by Friday, December 29th.

Salvation Army Bell Ringers are Needed!
If you could sign up for a few hours to ring the Salvation Army bell in front of City Market, please contact Sue Ruggles at  with your name, phone # and available days & time.
