Grant Applications from the Town of New Castle are available

The Town of New Castle grants money to organizations and for special events that preserve or enrich the health, education, welfare, and fitness of the community.

The Town adopted a policy for organizations requesting funding from the town. The funding cycle is January 1 through December 31, 2019. The applications must be turned into the town by 5:00 p.m., November 13, 2018.

The Town’s budget for 2019 is yet to be determined and therefore the budget for the current grants-making initiative is currently unknown. Town funding for grants may fluctuate from year to year. Typically, Town funding for grants has been approximately 1 percent of General Fund expenditures.

Fall Clean-Up Day!

The Town of New Castle will have a Fall Clean Up Event on October 12 and 13, 2018, from 8:00 am to 3:00 p.m. or until the dumpsters are full.

Bring your trash to the public works facility located at 801 W. Main Street.

We will accept all household trash including:

*Appliances
*Tires
*Paint
*Electronics
*Branches/Landscape material

Household materials only. No commercial or business drop off, please.

The clean up is for New Castle residents only. Proof of residency will be required (Drivers License or utility bill)
