New Castle Recreation Department
Junior Golf Clinics
Come out and learn the fundamentals of golf together with Lakota Ranch and golf professionals Sean Riley and company. Dates: Wednesdays, June 25-August 8, times: 9 am-10:30 am for 10 years & younger, 10:30 am-12 noon for 11 years & older. Cost $180 per child or $25 per session.

Basil Five Ways – Summer 2018

Come join us as we learn all about basil with Sarah Rumery of Osage Gardens. This will be a casual gathering with instruction and demonstration, as well as participant interaction. We will make and sample a variety of culinary treats featuring our favorite fresh herb. Class begins at 6:30 pm on Tuesday, June 19th. You must register online by June 17th. Space is limited.  $20 fee

New Castle Recreation Department
Junior Golf Clinics

Art Journal class for Teens
Thursday, June 14th, 10am – 11:30am at the New Castle Community Center, for ages 12-18. Participants will create an artistic journal cover, using collage layers. All needed materials will be supplied. Each participant will take a journal home at the end of the 90 minute class. $10 fee.

Art and ice cream
For youngsters at the New Castle Community Center.This event is designed for kids ages 3-6 years old, however, any child who would like to participate is welcome. Each participant will complete an ice cream themed collage and enjoy an ice cream treat afterwards. All children under the age of 9 must be accompanied by a guardian. $10 fee.

Summer Running Camp (ages 14-18)
A 5-day running camp of warm-up, workout and cool-down, along with classes on nutrition, injury prevention and stretching. June 18-21, 9 am – 12 noon, cost: $100 and location: TBD.

Golf in the Park: (Ages 5+)
May 19, 10 am – 12 noon
VIX Park

Youth Golf Colorado is excited to come to New Castle this year for Golf in
the Park on Saturday, May 19th. Come join local PGA and LPGA golf professionals at VIX Ranch Park for free golf instruction with clubs, equipment and snacks provided. Cost: Free, Please pre-register for the event!
Needed: Girls Softball players ages 8 – 10

Cost is $75 and season is May 21 – July 22. Location: Elk Creek Elementary School & VIX Park.
Intro to T-Ball (age 4)
Deadline to register is May 24. Cost is $40 and will be on Wednesdays, June 4 – July 12. Location: TBD.
Coach Pitch Baseball (ages 7-8)

Deadline to register is May 24. Cost is $50 and will be on Tuesdays & Thursdays, June 4 – July 12. Location: TBD.
