Bus

The Roaring Fork Transportation Authority (RFTA) provides bus service to New Castle. RFTA schedules busses to New Castle in the morning, early afternoon and evening. For the current schedule and additional information, phone (970) 925-8484.
 
A RFTA Park and Ride lot is scheduled to begin construction in 2016. It will be located at the east end of town (entrance from Burning Mountain Avenue).

Train

The California Zephyr runs between Chicago and San Francisco, with one eastbound and one westbound train stopping in Glenwood Springs daily.

Airports

New Castle is conveniently located approximately one hour away from three commercial airports:  Eagle, Aspen and Grand Junction, as well as by nearby Garfield County Airport.

Aspen/Pitkin County Airport

Reached from I-70 exits 140 or 147. The airport is served by American Airlines, Delta, United and Air Canada. Phone (970) 328-8600.

Garfield County Airport
New Castle is also served by the Garfield County Airport, located 11 miles east at I-70 exit 94. Phone (970) 625-1091.

Grand Junction Regional Airport
Located at the north end of Horizon Drive (I-70 exit 31). Allegiant Air, American Airlines, Delta, United and US Airways operate from Grand Junction Airport. Phone (970) 244-9100.
