New Castle Recreation
HOGBACK HUSTLE 5K RUN/WALK  Saturday, July 8 at 8:00am
Grab your running shoes and come out and run/walk in the Hogback Hustle 5K Run/Walk! The race starts from the New Castle City Market parking lot at 8:00 a.m. and finishes at Burning Mountain Park. Race supports the New Castle Lions Club and is the 5th race in the Colorado River Valley Charity Race Series! Cost $25.00 until 7/5 $30.00 after. Family Fee: $40.00

 

Inky Hands Art Studio: Take an Art Adventure + Unleash Your Creative Super Power
Join Instructor Lynn Cassidy for a creative art adventure all summer long. Classes are either held at the New Castle Community Center (NCCC) or Apple Tree Community Room (ATC). Class descriptions can be found at www.inky-hands-studio.com. Class fee includes 7.5-10hours of art instruction plus ALL materials, art supplies for the week. Class Min/Max:6/12

Grand Avenue Bridge Updates

North-leg of Sixth and Laurel Roundabout
Beginning Monday, June 26, Laurel will become one-way northbound. Motorists wishing to access Sixth Street and CO-82 from Laurel Street and surrounding neighborhoods should use Linden Street as a detour route.

The City parking lot next to Subway will be closed. Pedestrian access will be maintained during this time.
