New Castle Recreation has partnered with local yoga Instructor, Michelle Fite, to bring the New Castle community FREE Yoga in the Park. All ages and yoga levels are welcome. Bring a mat or towel. Yoga in the Park will meet one Saturday of every month from June- September.

Grand Avenue Bridge Updates
Traffic Impacts and Construction Activity for the week of July 17 to July 23

Sixth Street and Grand Avenue Bridge will be one-lane closures on Saturday, July 16 8 am to 5 pm
From 8 pm to 6 am, Sixth Street will be reduced to one-lane in each direction. Night work continues Monday through Friday from 8 pm to 6 am until August 1.

On the Grand Avenue Bridge:
Monday, July 18 to Friday, July 22
3 am to 6 am – Expect one-lane closures in each direction
6 am to 9 am – 2 will be given to southbound, upvalley traffic. One lane will be northbound, downvalley traffic
9 am to 3 pm Expect one-lane closures

Colorado River Closures:
July 18 to Friday July 22, NO Launch from 4 am to noon at Shoshone, Grizzly Creek and No Name. Daily river briefing conference calls every day at 3 pm. Conference call # 218-339-7800 Access code: 230 0335.
Only permitted commercial companies have access to/from Shoshone to Grizzly Creek in the morning. NO PRIVATE BOATING UNTIL NOON. Colorado State Patrol will be assisting at the put-ins until they are open to the public.

Upcoming Glenwood Canyon Closures:
July 19, 20 & 21 westbound traffic will have 15 minute delays at mile marker 127, 9 am to 3 pm.
July 27 & July 28 Glenwood Canyon will be CLOSED from 9 am to 3:30 pm
